The LocalScan API

Audit every location you manage without opening a browser. Send business listings from your own tools; a few minutes later, LocalScan returns a score, a verdict per section and a white-label report your client can open.

Three calls

1. 1. Launch

   POST /api/v1/scans

   Send each location’s name, address and phone, plus your own reference — returned untouched everywhere, so results map straight back to your records.

2. 2. Read the verdict

   GET /api/v1/scans/{id}

   Audits run in the background. A few minutes later, the same call returns the finished verdict.

3. 3. List

   GET /api/v1/scans

   Page through every audit you launched, filtered by status or date — handy to resume an interrupted batch.

What comes back

A score out of 100

with a band, returned only once the audit is complete — never a partial grade.

A status per section

website, local competitors, Google Maps searches, AI answers: critical, warning or good — or “unmeasured” when we could not measure it, which is never reported as fine.

The most serious issues

in plain language, in English or French.

A link to the full report

on your own branded subdomain, ready to show your client.

Access

Keys are issued by our team, one per partner account. A key only reads the audits it launched — another partner’s audits simply do not exist for it.

The full reference — every field, error code and a ready-to-copy polling loop — comes with your key.
